My inspiration has always been nature and its powerful ability to destroy and deconstruct. Interestingly enough, I have found that by not trying to control the outcome, my pieces are reflections of that.
Inspiration
To the viewer this might be an initial impression of seeing rotten wood, moss, corrosion or fungi on a rock. To me it is a way to give recognition to life and the inevitability of its loss, to give recognition to Imperfections and then come to the realization that there are none.

The most complex and intriguing patterns, color combinations, shapes and textures exist in the smallest and most hidden organism on this planet. It takes curiosity and patience to find and appreciate them.
